Media Sales Execution Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Contact potential clients to describe advertising opportunities, conduct cold calls, and sometimes have face to face conversations at presentations, meetings, and business lunches or dinners
2. Take part in internal training about how to handle phone calls and other job requirements
3. Contact existing clients to arrange the placement and design of advertisements they have agreed on and ensure an ongoing relationship
4. Research client needs and explains the benefits of buying advertising space and also respond to any objections
5. Explain pricing costs to potential clients and negotiate a fee, if necessary
6. Manage existing clients to ensure their needs are satisfied and they are happy with the service
7. Work with production teams to ensure that agreed advertisements are carried in the right place and at the right time
8. Track purchases and keep a record of sales, contacts, and deals
9. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences, and meet potential and existing clients
10. Work to maximize sales and meet targets
11. Deliver sales reports to management
