Merchandise Design Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Planning and developing merchandising strategies
2. Analyzing market trends to anticipate product needs
3. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales
4. Planning and developing merchandising strategies, that balance customers expectations, and the company s objectives
5. Producing layout plans for stores and maintaining store shelves and inventory
6. Monitoring stock movement and considering markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs, etc.
7. Remaining up to date with the industry s best practices
8. Working on new designs and new products to be launched
9. Helping in interior design, balcony makeovers, and landscaping
