Merchandise Operations Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on day-to-day liaisons with buyers regarding order clarity
2. Take details, and samples required and give clarity to the production department
3. Handle orders right from the stage of costing, new product development, sampling, production & logistic planning, and order follow up
4. Ensure that the raw materials and style approvals are available in time to meet the package date
5. Work on the execution of orders to ensure on-time shipment
6. Communicate with customers on a regular basis
7. Carry out new product development for customers in coordination with the PD team & designers and ensure timely deliveries to customers
8. Monitor T&A of each program on a regular basis & highlight or resolve concerns related to any program to ensure on-time delivery
9. Follow up and coordinate with production unit on a daily basis ensuring quality and on-time shipment (will require travel to Mfg. facility)
10. Provide requirement and sourcing development of trims and packaging material and follow up with the purchasing team
11. Assist team leader with business promotion activities
12. Maintain regular communication with all departments of the company and day-to-day reporting on the status of all orders
13. Work on proper record-keeping in soft and hard copies
