Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
3. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
4. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Added requirements

1. Experience with Android SDK and Eclipse

2. Knowledge and experience with usage of third-party libraries within the working project

3. Understanding of Activity lifecycle and usages of appropriate contexts

4. Experience with customizable dynamic ListViews and familiarity with different types of adapters (BaseAdapter, etc.), along with clickable elements in a row

5. Experience with Asynchronous loading of data

6. Experience with caching of data using SQLite

7. Efficient debugging experience using logging (Log.d)

8. Knowledge of coping up with different device size and configuration

9. Candidates having knowledge of Git/SVN would be an added advantage
