The intern will be part of a research study conducted. The study aims to assess capacity of school principals in urban India in 3 main schoolleadership functions: instructional leadership, school management and stakeholder engagement. The study will include a baseline and endline measurement of capacity to understand changes in school principal perceptions upon participation in the ISLI program. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting the school leader capacity survey and interview in schools sampled for the research study
2. Scheduling visits for conduction of the above survey
3. Visiting schools for conduction of the survey
4. Entering data collected into an online database
5. Recording data from interviews on phones or notes and typing out transcripts verbatim
6. Coordinating with the M&E Head to ensure the quality of data
7. Working closely with the city team to ensure smooth functioning of the study in the city

2. can start the internship between 17th Jul'19 and 16th Aug'19
3. are available for duration of 1 week
4. are from or open to relocate to Delhi and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests
1. Final year students or graduates
2. Should be available for full-time internship for one/two weeks
3. Experience in research, survey conduction or working in schools (preferred)
4. Local language proficiency (preferred)
5. Have access to a personal laptop
6. Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel
7. Strong communication skills
8. Flexible as per the needs of the organization
