Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include researching social cues and development, being at ease in a fast-paced setting, and seeking practical instruction in action research, methods, and instruments.
Skills Required:
1. Available for at least three months (December, January, and February)
2. Comfortable working remotely, have a good network, and are okay with meetings in the evening (between 5 pm-7 pm)
3. Good at compiling and organizing information
4. Good writing skills
5. Basic training and experience in research (will consider ongoing/completed thesis as part of master's degree)
6. Social sciences background preferred

Udyogini, which aptly means woman in the enterprise, has been working in the field of women entrepreneurship and micro-enterprise promotion, started with a World Bank project in 1992. Udyogini provided capacity-building support to NGOs in Odisha, Bihar, and Rajasthan in promoting women's entrepreneurship. Udyogini had built knowledge & skills of teams of about 200+ Non-profits to help more than 2,00,000 rural women in various parts of India to engage in micro-enterprises. Currently, Udyogini is working in 5 states viz. Jharkhand, M.P, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand to impart customized quality business services to enable 50000 rural women to build knowledge, skills, and attitude to engage in the farm, forest, livestock, and non-farm based products to earn and grow as well as to take on the differential roles the market expects and to manage the competition that the market engenders. In the last ten years, Udyogini has helped 25000 women producers to double their income.
