Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change introduced an internship scheme for students. This scheme seeks to engage students with graduation/post graduation degrees and research scholars enrolled in recognized university/institution within India or abroad.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) is the nodal agency in the administrative structure of the Central Government for the planning, promotion, co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of India's environmental and forestry policies and programmes.
About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Know about the government functioning and regulatory and developmental policy issues and contribute in its amendment
2. Generate inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, policy papers, etc.
3. Work on the different verticles according to the interest:
a. Civil engineering
b. Physics
c. Mechanical engineering
d. Biology sciences
e. Mining engineering

Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. are available for duration of 1 month (preferred, not mandatory)
  3. have relevant skills and interests
  4. have already graduated or are currently in any year of study
