Network Engineering Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on operations on supporting switch infrastructure
2. Work on Sophos Firewalls, WAN Optimization, VOIP Solutions, and video conference solutions
3. Work on the configuration of the enterprise network
4. Work on making sure all of the security policies and procedures are being implemented as per Manulife security policies and guidelines

Skills & Requirements:

1. Require strong troubleshooting skills and an understanding of the design
2. Bachelor's degree with 6 months -2 years of relevant experience in supporting enterprises, data networks, and VO IP infrastructure
3. In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including Firewall, Endpoint Architecture, & VOIP Solutions
4. Ability to solve problems quickly and automate and improve processes
5. Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, And WLAN Design and implementation
6. Technical Knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and internet standards, including (DNS, DHCP, and NTP)
7. Natural ability in troubleshooting, and eagerness to learn technologies outside of core job responsibilities
8. Experience in the telecommunications industry will be a plus point with hands-on Sophos firewall
9. CCNA and CCNP certifications are preferred
