Operations Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Learn to supervise and lead individuals in an operation department
2. Help with implementation of production plans and managing the completion of production plans
3. Apply good leadership techniques to achieve or exceed the expected level of quality and production output
4. Help with ideas to improve current production or place new products and lines into production
5. Sit in on meeting with supervisors and managers to gain an understanding of current projects/focuses
6. Anticipate and overcome production-related problems, materials shortages, equipment malfunctions and unavoidable delays where possible to reduce their impact on the operation
7. Manage Logistics account and its services and check for all the import/export shipments using the logistic account
8. Monitor and lead the projects
9. Submit potential projects to management
10. Maintain status reports on projects
