About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include collecting data for trees across Delhi to calculate the ecosystem services of trees (oxygen production, carbon absorption, carbon sequestration, air pollution, etc.).

The selected candidates will be traveling all across Delhi to collect data for trees. i-Tree is developed by the United States Forest Service and the candidates will be working with scientists from US Forest Service and Davey Trees based in the US. This is the first such project in India where the benefits of trees are being calculated on a big scale.

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 6th Oct'20 and 10th Nov'20

3. are available for duration of 4 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Delhi and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Basic knowledge of mathematics and trigonometry

2. Should be willing to travel all across Delhi and collect data for trees

3. Willing to spend the full day in the field
