Aster Guest House is driven by a young and energetic team that has been successfully hosting guests since the 2000s. For us service is everything. We prefer if our guest house manager is from a hospitality/hotel management background or has a genuine interest in this and believes in providing the best customer experience and service to our guests - who we believe is God.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Manage the daily check-in and check-out of the guests
2. Daily checking of the rooms and reception to ensure the guest house is neat and clean
3. Work on daily uploading the inventory of rooms
4. Promptly respond to guest queries through calls, emails, and messages
5. Look after each and every guest - ensure they get what they want
6. Reach out to leading corporates in the area and form lucrative tie-ups with the property
7. Maintain daily accounts and invoices
8. Create fresh content for the social media of the guest house
9. Manage the housekeeping staff at the guest house, manage the inventory of linen, stock, etc.
10. Calls to guest inquiries and post check out customer service calls.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 28th Jul'21 and 1st Sep'21
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Kolkata
5. have relevant skills and interests
Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 100000 to 300000 /year
The Aster Heritage Guest House is situated in the heart of Kolkata, i.e., Park Street. At the guest house, we have 15 unique rooms, each designed differently for the comfort of our guests. The guests include a wide mix of corporates, tourists, FITs, etc. Additionally, we also have a service apartment and banquet hall.
