Operations Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on branch (yard) accounting and reconciling the HO and branch accounts on a weekly basis for remittances and inter-branch invoices
2. Compute commodity costing based on daily procurement, direct expenses, and indirect expenses
3. Work on the allocation of indirect expenses to various commodities procured based on monthly turnovers
4. Track direct expenses and red flagging deviations from the historical templates and reporting the same to the management
5. Work on indirect expense audit and handle the query of the branch heads for unusual indirect expenses and requisition of bills/vouchers for verification
6. Handle the shipments made from the yard to be invoiced to HO on the basis of the derived material cost with nil retention of profit at the branch
7. Track and age the accounts receivables branch
8. Work on stock reconciliation and calculation and weekly inventory valuation across branches
9. Work on cash flow tracking based on open contracts/shipments
