Interns will be reporting to the community lead.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct a property survey via the Recity app
2. Carry out IEC across all sectors to achieve 04-part segregation (residence, schools, hospitality sector)
3. Monitor the levels of segregation in the city
4. Build rapport & coordinate with ULB/contractor supervisors
5. Support the CL in the planning & execution of project activities
6. Support the CL in the documentation of the project
7. Support the SCL in training workers to use the Recity monitoring app
8. Support SCL in conducting occupational surveys of waste collectors
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 11th May'22 and 15th Jun'22
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Candidate should be interested or experienced in public speaking
2. Candidate should be social & comfortable amongst community members
3. Basic skills in Microsoft Office
4. Candidate must have a cell phone

Recity is a city resource management organization with a current focus on waste as a resource. We support urban local bodies and corporates in implementing and sustaining data and tech-enabled city-level solutions to streamline the waste value chain and avert waste from landfills. This is done by creating platforms where stakeholders, including the government, citizens, waste workers, and experts interact and problem-solve together, and become mindful of the needs of others. In the last two years, we have averted more than 24,000 metric tons of waste from landfills and formalized 325 waste workers.
