Credenc is a digital education loan platform for higher education that works as the digital finance desk of colleges. It is a unique platform to finance meritorious students for their college fee expenses by underwriting their employability, rather than the means available to their families. We aim to disrupt education loans by deploying technology to reduce inefficiencies in the lending process as well as by enabling financial institutions to process more & more education loans by helping them with alternate credit scoring models.
Credenc's leadership team is from IITs and the London School of Economics with prior experience of starting and running companies (including successful exits). The founders have also spent considerable time in leadership roles at successful large-scale start-ups. Recently, Credenc was a national award winner at the Wharton India startup challenge.
