About Expodian Educational And Welfare Trust
Expodian Educational & Welfare Trust is a registered non-government organization committed to the development and empowerment of the education system in India, especially in rural parts of the country. Headquartered at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the trust was founded to support the United Nations' 4th Sustainable Development goal for Quality Education. To nurture children and lay a healthy foundation for society, there is a need for a quality education system that should have a long-lasting learning experience for children.

We aim to develop future leaders, thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers, not just people with degrees. We took on this noble initiative to improve the quality of our existing education system that ultimately delivers highly qualified professionals to serve the nation.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
2. Answering questions about products or the company
3. Asking questions to understand customer requirements and closing sales
4. Bringing direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
5. Entering and updating customer information in the database
6. Taking and processing orders in an accurate manner
7. Handling grievances to preserve the company's reputation
8. Going the 'extra mile' to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
9. Keeping records of calls and sales and noting useful information

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 20th Oct'20 and 24th Nov'20

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Must have proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer service role

2. Must have proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone

3. Must have good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems

4. Must have the ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects

5. Must have excellent knowledge of English

6. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

7. Must be a cool-tempered individual and be able to handle rejection

8. Must have outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints

9. A high school diploma or B.Sc or BA degree/qualification will be a plus
