Operations (Procurement Executive) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work closely with the design team to understand the BOM requirement of different scale solar projects- residential, commercial, utility
2. Float inquiries in the market regarding the different materials required for the project
3. Create/maintain vendor database with time to time upgradation about new material/revised prices
4. Source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors
5. Evaluate vendor s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
6. In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on purchase orders delivery and shipment schedules
7. Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
8. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
9. Implement internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
