Operations Work From Home Part Time Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage all stages of translation projects, monitor workflow, and ensure the highest level of performance in terms of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
2. Follow up on quotes to maximize potential business and track reasons for refused quotes
3. Obtain accurate word counts and prepare estimates and quotes for clients
4. Book freelance translators, select the most suitable translator for each project and negotiate the best rates
5. Communicate clear and specific instructions to translators and keep them accountable for the quality and punctual delivery
6. Deliver translations in accordance with agreed deadlines and in the appropriate format
7. Prioritize tasks whilst handling multiple projects simultaneously
8. Ensure database entries on translators
9. Ensure that clients are up-to-date and accurate
10. Contribute to the overall day-to-day functions of the company, along with other colleagues to cover for the head of project management and the general manager in his/her absence
11. Prepare reports for the head of project management
12. Follow up on projects to ensure that customer service levels and satisfaction are maintained
13. Finalize projects and prepare them for invoicing
14. Ensure that translator purchase orders are issued in line with company procedure to ensure fair and correct payment for the services that have been rendered
