Vittshala, The Financial Literacy Cell of Shri Ram College of Commerce, is a CCE initiative to spread the basics of financial education among financial illiterates.
Inaugurated by Shri Arun Jaitley Ji on 17th October 2016, Vittshala has successfully undertaken many initiatives under its ambit, has impacted 10,000+ lives and is constantly trying to broaden its impact base. We currently have 3 in-station projects i.e. Project SAHAY- spreading financial literacy among children, Project ASHA- spreading financial literacy among the grade 4 workers, and Project UMEED- targeting the helpers and workers from schools and colleges. Apart from this, we also have 2 outstation projects i.e. Project KHUSHHALI and Project UTTARA targeting the people in remote regions across India.
We strive to make continuous efforts to create a financially inclusive society with each and every individual having access to the basic knowledge of banking and finance.
