1. Assist in designing and implementing surveys to understand the needs, interests, and aspirations of marginalized girls
2. Collect survey data through various methods, including phone calls, online forms, or in-person interviews
B. Career support:
1. Provide support to girls in exploring career pathways, including job opportunities, higher education, and upskilling programs
2. Help girls identify their interests and strengths, and connect them with relevant resources and networks
C. Networking & outreach:
1. Establish and maintain relationships with organizations, institutions, and individuals who can provide career opportunities, mentorship, or guidance
2. Facilitate connections between girls and professionals in their desired fields
D. Data analysis:
1. Assist in analyzing survey data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform program development and improvement
2. Help identify areas where girls may need additional support or resources
E. Program participant support:
1. Regularly call and engage with girls to understand their progress, challenges, and interests
2. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to help girls achieve their career goals

Umeed is a non-profit that hopes to promote women's empowerment and radically alter the mindsets that exist within society. Through providing training and knowledge to women, we aspire to bring about an immediate and lasting difference; one of hope, dignity, and security. Currently, Umeed runs on its mission of empowering women holistically by way of two community initiatives namely Karigari and FirstLeap.
Karigari provides skill training of making simple yet beautiful eco-friendly newspaper handicrafts. Along with skill-building, the women get exposure to new life-skills; such as digital literacy, financial planning, budgeting and progressive values like self-worth, teamwork, collaboration, and creativity.
