We are looking for passionate and responsible Teaching Facilitators to facilitate sessions in Public Speaking, Debate, Theatre, Model United Nations (MUN), etc, in schools across Delhi-NCR. Facilitators will be trained before being assigned a class and will receive ongoing support throughout their engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students who are passionate about teaching and can commit to a regular class schedule during school hours (typically mornings to afternoons).
Key responsibilities:
1. Facilitate weekly student sessions in Debate, Public Speaking, Theatre or MUN: You will lead structured and interactive sessions with students from Grades 4 to 12, using Aawaaz's curriculum to deliver engaging and high-impact classes. Sessions are conducted in person at schools across Delhi-NCR.
2. Ensure engaging delivery and progress of the assigned curriculum: You will be responsible for implementing the curriculum effectively in each session, adapting it to suit the learning pace and style of the students, while maintaining clear learning objectives and outcomes.
3. Once a class has been allotted, facilitators are expected to take it consistently every week, with a minimum of one class assigned per week.
4. Track student progress and submit timely reports: You will maintain records of student attendance, participation, and growth over time. Reports will be submitted to the Aawaaz team regularly to support monitoring, evaluation, and communication with schools.
5. Maintain a professional presence and rapport while working in school settings: As a representative of Aawaaz, you are expected to maintain respectful relationships with school staff and students, be punctual and dependable, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanour in all school interactions.
6. Classes will be scheduled anytime between 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, based on school preferences and your availability.
7. Facilitators may also occasionally be required to travel to other cities in India for short-term assignments.
8. Scope for Additional Work: 20 hours/month of remote tasks, such as: In addition to your classes, you will be expected to contribute meaningfully to Aawaaz's larger ecosystem through structured remote work each month. These tasks will be assigned based on current organisational needs and your area of interest/expertise:
a. Curriculum & content development
b. Research and project support
c. Graphic design using Canva
d. Video editing and content creation
Please note the compensation structure:
1. Hourly payment for both class facilitation and remote work tasks
2. Travel expenses to and from school assignments will be fully reimbursed

Other requirements
1. Strong proficiency in English and communication.
2. Experience in or passion for education, public speaking or performance
3. Comfort in working with students from Grades 4–12
4. Must be available during school hours (7:30 AM to 4 PM) on weekdays
5. Commitment to punctuality and consistently showing up for assigned classes and meetings
6. Willingness to travel occasionally within India, if required
