1. Candidates should have completed projects in the following domains and should be able to show documentation for at least one of them: drive train design, body structure design, FEA, stress analysis, CNC, laser cutting, vehicle dynamics, mass manufacturing, or rapid prototyping
2. Candidates will the following skills will be preferred: CAD (Solidworks, Catia or Autodesk), MATLAB, ANSYS, SimScale, Industrial sketching and design, engineering drawings, understanding of different types of materials
3. Educational background: bachelors or masters in product design, design engineering, mechanical engineering, material science
The product design engineer has to build component designs for manufacturing and coordinate with the design and engineering team. The applicant will be working in Mumbai, and ensure that the end product meets the business goals as well as user needs. There will be a steep learning curve for this role which will boost personal and professional development.
