To make our crafts research deeper and the products line more robust and diversified, we are looking to explore collaborative projects with craft and design college students.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on design development
2. Handle material exploration - Currently, we are using threads and a few other materials we want to explore combining different materials like cloth, soft wires, wood, etc. with the same
3. Work on products exploration - Possibility of different product categories like loom-based products, wooden partitions, wall d cor (in combination with the grass), etc.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 20th Jun'22 and 25th Jul'22
3. are available for duration of 4 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Kalaghar is a social enterprise working with artisans of Odisha. We create home decor-based products and sell them to global retailers. Currently, we are working with clients in the USA, UK & Canada. We have a friendly, flexible, and safe working environment.
