About Chakr Innovation
Chakr Innovation is a company founded by engineering graduates from IIT, Delhi, who have developed a solution to control the polluting emissions from diesel generators. The technology can capture 90% of the particulate matter being emitted from diesel generators with minimal backpressure. Moreover, the captured pollution is not dumped or burnt but is reused as a black pigment for inks and paints instead, thus creating a circular economy. Chakr Innovation has been working with some of the leading companies in India like Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited, Hindustan Petroleum, MTNL, BSNL, Jyoti Sagar Associates, and Indian Oil Corporation.

Their work has been recognized and awarded by various bodies like the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), American Society Of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), General Atlantic Echoing Green, Forbes 30 Under 30 Global, and the University of Chicago.

About the internship
We are looking for a stellar new product strategy intern, who is passionate about solving complex problems within the B2B energy space.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Help in developing and implementing product vision and strategy
2. Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for the product
3. Drive the market readiness and ensure completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.)
4. Work on product economics and financial modeling for the business
5. Identify and onboard early customers for the launch of the new product
6. Design and implement marketing initiatives for the product with the help of marketing partners
7. Drive the development of business cases for investments
8. Assist for investment and funding pitches and applications

Other requirements

1. Should have strong solution skills in translating customer needs to product functionalities

2. Bachelors degree in any engineering (MBA desirable)

3. Some experience in meaningful consulting/product management/business development experience in the B2B space is desirable

4. Self-starter with the ability to lead various levels of projects in the company

5. Skills needed: business acumen and product instincts, strong storytelling skills, highly entrepreneurial, ability to excite sales teams and customers with ideas about new products
