Grameen Foundation India launched Lakshyavati to address the high school dropout rate of adolescent girls in India and empower them with education. Lakshyavati aims to enable hundreds of girls from less privileged backgrounds to continue their education through scholarships.
Selected interns day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify potential recipients for the Lakshyavati scholarships
2. Facilitate the mentorship program between Program donors and the beneficiaries in rural India
3. Visit the program participants, meet their parents and teachers and facilitate a conversation with the mentors
4. Translate the pre-structured conversation between the donor and beneficiary
5. Document the program progress, collect impact stories, shoot videos on phone, collect pictures of girls in school/home (as applicable) and document all the required information
6. Work with the communications team in head office collate and provide any information required for the donor or marketing purposes
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the part time job/internship
2. can start the part time job/internship between 14th Jan'20 and 13th Feb'20
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Bhandardara
5. have relevant skills and interests
