Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop strategies that predict future returns by investigating and implementing recent academic research
2. Apply AI/ML techniques for strategy discovery, portfolio optimization, and risk management
3. Develop algorithms to filter and combine trading strategies
4. Optimize the framework for creating, backtesting and deploying trade strategies
