1. Should have a demonstrable ability to interpret equity data and macroeconomic trends
2. Should be educated in economics and investment theory and should have a working knowledge of tools used to aid the investment workflow
3. Should be adept at reading financial income statements, balance sheets, and other key summary report statements issued by publicly traded companies
4. Should be skilled at flagging warning signs of poor future performance and other abnormalities in a company's statement of earnings
5. Should have an understanding of fundamental accounting principles is essential
6. Should have strong communication skills are critical, as researchers must translate difficult-to-understand financial coefficients to portfolio managers
7. Should be a B.Com graduate (finance)
8. Should have a strong interest & willingness in financial/stock/capital/equity markets, fundamental resources.
9. CA candidates are preferred
