An exciting opportunity has come up at IT for Change to work on a research study to assist Kai-Hsin Hung, IDRC Research Fellow, supporting research in understanding the working and social conditions and attitudes of microworkers who are doing human-computer hybrid tasks.
The position open is:
Research Assistant (between June 24th to August 23rd)
Duration: 2 months
Location: Bangalore
The expected output includes writing a literature review, setting up and administering an online survey, translating and transcribing data in Kannada and English.
Requirements:
a. English and Kannada language skills are required and fluency in Telugu is desired
b. Master's degree in social sciences, labour studies, public policy, or related fields
c. Experience in conducting research interviews or surveys in the last three years
Renumeration of 7500/week (equivalent of 30 hours work a week) will be provided.
