Beginning in Fall 2019, I will be a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Princeton University, affiliated with the Center for Information Technology Policy (CITP). I grew up in New Delhi and graduated from Stanford University with B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science (Systems) & an M.A. in Public Policy (Legal & Regulatory Intervention) in 2018. Previously, I worked at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
While my research interests lie in security, privacy & policy, I am also interested in discovering solutions that can increase transparency and accountability of our political systems. My Master's thesis in Public Policy at Stanford investigated the effect of incumbency (holding public office) in Lok Sabha elections (you can find more information on my website, including the full text).
I am currently working on a book on this incumbency effect in both Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha elections and would like to hire 2-3 research associates to assist with that effort.
