ROS Development Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Developing data acquisition nodes for motors
2. Working on navigation for robotics
3. Designing & developing an algorithm
4. Spanning all aspects of product bring-up and test: write, debug, and integrate new device drivers, protocols, and other firmware code across the embedded product line
5. Interacting with hardware, OS, test, operations and various other cross-functional teams
6. Supporting product development builds locally and remotely
7. Delivering high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment
8. Specifying, designing, and implementing functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems
9. Designing the software architecture and firmware implementation on hardware through integration, test and high volume manufacturing
10. Making performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements
11. Collaborating with the team and delivering daily updates of progress
12. Establishing and working with proper documentation and creating a task list in agile methodology
13. Developing source code targeting the embedded system
14. Performing effective analysis of functional issues or performance profiling with the firmware and hardware in test environments or target host systems
15. Contributing to process improvements to ensure firmware quality and time-to-market
16. Prototyping on the Arduino, ARM platform
