About Sadhana Forest

Sadhana Forest is an organization focused on reforestation, water conservation, environmental education, and sustainable living. It is located in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, very close to Pondicherry. We host interns, students, and volunteers from all over India and the world. We are a global organization and also have centers in Haiti and Kenya. We are open to receive interns throughout the entire year. Interns are hosted on our site and take part in community life. They help with the reforestation and water conservation work and are also requested to take part in daily chores. There is also the possibility of assisting in our animal sanctuary and in 'Children's Land', a space where we regularly host groups of local children. We are reforesting 70 acres of heavily eroded land, bringing back the native 'tropical dry evergreen forest'.
