About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the artistic director in applying for current artistic scholarships
2. Ensuring the timely application of scholarships
3. Researching about the key scholarships and preparing application dossiers
4. Working as an alarm clock for all the upcoming grants, scholarships, and deadlines related to arts, films, theatre, etc.
5. Writing concept notes for application of cultural grants
6. Writing to governmental authorities, if required

Kabuliwala Storytelling and Theatre Company are named after Kamal Kabuliwala, originally Kamal Pruthi, the artistic director, who acquired this pen name after his character as Kabuliwala became a rage all over the country, and he went on to do back-to-back 300 solo stage shows all over India and abroad while spearheading the storytelling movement in the country and inspiring thousands of young mothers, storytellers, and artists to take up storytelling as a profession.
