Script Writing Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on developing and researching ideas for screenplays
2. Write or adapt a story into a script for an animated series
3. Work on developing characters and plots, including creating an outline for each scene
4. Stitch the story script to the technical learning content/script of a video episode
5. Review and revise existing scripts as needed to ensure they are consistent with current standards
6. Work with relevant stakeholders to edit and adjust the scripts as needed
7. Work on coming up with new ideas and also envision what the series might be like before it s made
8. Work with the directors, and other team members and effectively pitch their screenplays and create a vivid picture for them

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience writing script/screenplay
2. Strong command of the English language and the ability to write a compelling story
3. Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced work environment.
4. Understand what it takes to ensure quality education and is excited by the idea of spending time with our partner schools to understand the challenges they are facing while teaching kids
5. Candidates from literature backgrounds are preferred
