Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Shopify Website SEO Management:
1. Audit and update meta titles, descriptions, alt text, and image optimization for all product and collection pages.
2. Optimize URL structures, internal linking, and schema markup (product schema, reviews, etc.).
3. Run weekly site audits using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
4. Monitor keyword ranking performance and identify opportunities to update content or create new landing pages.
5. Collaborate with the content/creative team for SEO-friendly product titles and image naming conventions.

B. On-Page SEO:
1. Implement content optimization strategies (blog posts, product descriptions, landing pages).
2. Ensure mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and structured navigation for better user experience.
3. Refresh and rewrite underperforming content using primary & secondary keywords.
4. Conduct keyword gap analysis and update targeted keywords monthly.

C. Off-Page SEO:
1. Manage backlink-building campaigns via guest posting, outreach, and brand mentions.
2. Submit brand listings to relevant directories and fashion forums.
3. Track backlinks, disavow toxic links, and strengthen domain authority.
4. Collaborate with influencers/bloggers for SEO-driven collaborations and product mentions.

D. Develop AI SEO on Platforms Like Quora, Gemini, and more:
1. Answer relevant questions on Quora, Reddit, Google Gemini, and other emerging AI platforms with SEO-optimized responses.
2. Use long-tail keywords and brand mentions to boost visibility and direct traffic to product pages.
3. Create brand-related prompts on platforms like Gemini to generate AI-driven visibility and conversational traffic.
4. Monitor emerging AI content platforms and propose content ideas to stay ahead of trends.

E. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
1. Prepare weekly SEO performance reports (traffic, conversions, keyword ranking, CTR).
2. Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ubersuggest.
3. Track direct traffic growth as a KPI and report insights to improve strategies.
4. Test and report on A/B content experiments to improve meta titles, product copy, or landing pages.
