About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on cybersecurity incident response
2. Working on security information and event management (SIEM) solutions
3. Working on security threats, threat attack methods, and the current threat environment
4. Working on common attacks and their SIEM signatures
5. Working on security monitoring, incident response (IR), security tools configuration, and security remediation
6. Clearly articulating and proposing security solutions in business terms
7. Work using their understanding of operating system, web server, database & security devices (firewall/NIDS/NIPS), logs, and log formats

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

4. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Candidates having a previous practical experience of working on one or more security information and event management (SIEM) solutions would be preferred

2. Must have excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

3. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

4. Must have an understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stack, SSL/TLS, IPSEC SMTP/IMAP, FTP, HTTP, etc.)

5. Must have an understanding of operating system, web server, database and security devices (firewall/NIDS/NIPS) logs and log formats
