Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in conducting security assessments and analyzing systems, applications, and networks for vulnerabilities.
2. Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to identify weaknesses.
3. Research and monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and developments.
5. Document findings, vulnerabilities, and recommended remediation steps.
6. Create detailed reports on security assessments and research findings.
7. Assist in analyzing the root causes of incidents and helping to develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
2. Strong passion for cybersecurity and a keen interest in staying updated with industry trends.
3. Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
4. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Bash).
5. Basic knowledge of network protocols and security technologies.
6. Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CND are a plus.
