About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Increasing engagement across Dignity Foundation's social media profiles. Dignity Foundation only serves senior citizens, so any communication made with them must be done keeping this in mind
2. Promoting Dignity Foundation's social media profiles, especially during Dignity Foundation's events
3. Meeting deadlines, most of which will be ad-hoc in nature
4. Creating social media templates and content-this requires the use of Canva, Photoshop, and royalty-free stock images

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 21st Sep'20 and 26th Oct'20

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Mumbai and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Have excellent command over English

2. Have to be creative and ready to come up with ideas and strategies on their feet

3. Be familiar with the following social media platforms: Facebook/Facebook For Business, Twitter, Instagram, Canva or Photoshop, Slack, and Google My Business

4. Expert competency over English is an absolute must

5. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of marketing on platforms mentioned above is a huge plus

Dignity Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that has been working for the cause of senior citizens for over 22 years. Dignity Foundation helps senior citizens deal with their insecurities (emotional, financial, health, and safety) and loneliness and brings joy to their lives. Dignity offers senior citizens an enriching set of opportunities to lead a more dignified, secure, and joyful and fulfilling life. Headquartered in Mumbai, Dignity has chapters spread across six other cities - Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Goa. Dignity Foundation opened its Delhi-NCR chapter on July 29, 2017, as the seventh in the line of city chapters providing services to the urban elderly.

Dignity Foundation runs a number of programs like Dignity helpline assistance with legal & financial counseling, ration supplies for the aged & needy, loneliness mitigation centers, gift Dignity enrichment to retiring employees, and employee volunteering.
