We are looking for a part-time communications manager for VigyanShaala especially for our program Kalpana - She for STEM which encourages women's participation in STEM.
1. Create posters for events in the Kalpana Network on Canva primarily (other platforms are also welcome) these events consist of talks/seminars as well as coursework conducted by different STEM leaders across the world
2. Promote events by sharing events on the Kalpana Network (LinkedIn + Facebook) and sharing the success of Kalpana Events on the VigyanShaala Account (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
3. Work with MailChimp to create and send mass emails for email marketing
4. Summarize progress of network: providing a continuous and structured report with numbers, on the growth/activities of the Kalpana Network which includes the number of subscribers, growth rates, interaction scores for various events, future programs, etc.
5. Prepare reports and monthly newsletters for our stakeholders
Skills and other requirements:
1. Passionate about creative storytelling
2. Has innovative ideas for engaging with a young audience and other senior stakeholders equally
