A.P. Jithender Reddy, the Hon'ble Lok Sabha MP from Mahbubnagar, Telangana is a second-time Legislator and is the Floor Leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party in Lok Sabha.
Mr. Reddy was first elected to the 13th Lok Sabha in 1999 as a BJP MP from Mahbubnagar, Telangana. Under his current tenure and leadership, Mahbubnagar has seen setting up of Pradhan Mantra Kaushal Kendra (for skill training), Passport Seva Kendra and doubling of the railway line from Secunderabad. Through his efforts, a branch office of Cotton Corporation of India has been set up in Mahbubnagar and corporates including Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble and Cogent Glass have invested in the region providing employment to the youth of Mahbubnagar. Further, as the Floor Leader of TRS Party in Lok Sabha, Mr. Reddy plays a crucial role representing India's youngest state in the Parliament.
