About Bengaluru Hemodialysis Association

The Bengaluru Hemodialysis Association, a non-government and non-profit making organization, was formed to facilitate the holistic development of children of chronic renal failure patients until they can lead their own independent lives. Chronic renal disease patients suffer from the gradual loss of kidney function, rendering them incapable of functioning without regular dialysis. Most patients find it difficult to bear the financial burden of their treatments and the needs of their families. As a result, their children may have to discontinue or compromise their education and consequently face many social disadvantages later in life.
