Social Work Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Counseling the people they will be working with; like if a social worker is working with orphaned children, they will have to counsel them and assess their mental condition
2. Making an evaluation of the problem faced by the victim they are working with
3. Planning out a strategy to give help to the person they want to help, that is the victim, each and every other person will have a different strategy as no two persons are the same
4. Making out a detailed psychological profile of the person and making reports for it
5. Developing a plan for treatment or rehabilitation of the victim from the ordeal they have been through
6. Working closely with other professionals like doctors and lawyers whose help the victim might require
7. Designing and developing social service programs in the place of their work
8. Educating the family of the victim on how they can help them recover
9. If the victim requires monetary aid, the social worker can put them in programs which will provide aid for them
