1. Designing and developing the application software for the robotics project independently
2. Analyzing the requirements and coming out with architecture proposals for the product
3. Working with cross-functional teams (local and global)
4. Working on robotics navigation, mapping, SLAM, etc.
5. Implementing FSM
6. Working with differential drive robots
7. Designing and evaluating prototypes
8. Developing software systems for localization, object detection & tracking
9. Working on the control of the robot
10. Reviewing and approving cost estimates and design calculations
11. Investigating mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
12. Providing technical support for robotic systems
13. Working on unit testing under GTest, ROS test, etc.
Other requirements:
1. Strong C++ experience (boost libraries, C++11 or above)
2. Good understanding of ROS / ROS2.0 architecture
3. Experience in ROS tools (Gazebo, Rviz)
4. Good mathematics and physics knowledge
5. Experience with version control concepts and software (any of SVN, Git, ClearCase)
6. Experience in C++ 11.0 and above standards
7. Experience working using Python
