About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on understanding and reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to come up with comprehensive well-structured test scenarios and test cases
2. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
3. Perform different tests like functional, regression, installation, integration, database, migration, upgrade, and compatibility
4. Work on identifying, recording, and tracking bugs to closure
5. Work on collaborating with cross-product teams and understand cross-product integration to develop scripts
6. Work on collaborating with product/program management, development/QA peers to ensure complete test coverage

Who can apply

4. are from or open to relocate to Hyderabad and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Must have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

2. Must have proven skill in writing test plans and test cases

3. Must have hands-on knowledge with both white box and black box testing

4. Must have a solid knowledge of SQL and scripting

5. Must have basic knowledge in an Agile/Scrum development process

6. Must have knowledge of automation testing tools, writing scripts, and any of the tools like Selenium, QTP, Test Complete, IBM Functional Tester, performance tester tools(Jmeter) would be an added advantage

7. Must know manual testing (functional testing/integration testing/regression testing)

8. Must have manual testing with API and database skills (SQL)

9. Must have strong knowledge in UI/UX testing, any tool added plus (Crazy egg, Usability Hub, User Zoom, etc.)
