Software Testing Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback as the QA
2. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
3. Perform thorough integration and stress testing, and regression post-production releases
4. Troubleshoot issues reported by users, and escalate to developers on time
5. Understand the product architecture and perform configuration changes on the app backend/database where needed (on production and staging)
6. Track quality assurance metrics and report these to the product team
7. Track app uninstalls/crashes & perform qualitative user surveys to identify reasons
8. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
9. Write supporting documentation for the product

Skill sets/qualifications :

1. Computer science graduate (preferable)
2. Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
3. Experience in QA and automation of testing
4. Good communication skills (oral, written) and logical thinking
5. Strong customer/consumer app focus
