1. Analyzing raw data, assessing quality, cleansing, and structuring for downstream processing
2. Designing accurate and scalable prediction algorithms

4. Working with cross-functional teams to bring analytical prototypes to production and to achieve goals

Added requirements
1. Must hold an MS degree in mathematics/data mining/machine learning/statistics
2. Must know how to develop advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner
3. Must have experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Python, NumPy, TensorFlow, and MXNet
4. Should have solid programming skills with Python/C/C++/Java or other equivalent languages
5. Should have familiarity with big data frameworks and visualization tools like Cassandra/Hadoop/Spark/Tableau
