The Summer Research Internship program at Nanyang Technological University is now open. This is a fabulous opportunity for students interested in the area of research to pursue an internship abroad and gain experience from professors of a renowned university.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a leading institution of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region. It offers broad-based and multi-disciplinary curricula that include schools of engineering, life sciences, communications, art, business, humanities and the social sciences. More than twenty percent of its undergraduate students hail from Asia-Pacific, including Indonesia, Malaysia, China, India, Thailand and Vietnam.
About the Internship:
The Summer Research Internship (SRI) Program is a university wide research program initiated to stimulate a culture of research for the overseas undergraduates. Participants for this program will develop research interest, strong sense of cross-cultural intelligence; gain a network of friends and a better understanding of Singapore.
Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. are available for duration of 2 months (preferred, not mandatory)
  3. have relevant skills and interests
  4. have already graduated or are currently in any year of study
Other requirements:
  1. The SRI program is open to new students who have not been to Singapore previously. Undergraduate students currently enrolled as full time students in a bachelor's or master's program are eligible to apply.
Additional Information:
1. One-time travel support to the extent of SGD300
2. A double occupancy accommodation inside or outside the university (subject to availability)
3. SDG300 per month (paid out on a monthly basis). Should your stay either be less or more than a month the amount will be proportional
4. Reimbursement of miscellaneous fees such as TEP application, matriculation card, IT facilities fee, registration fee, university copyright fee and group hospitalisation & surgical insurance (GHSI) scheme with the final financial allowance pay-out
