As a Supply Chain & Logistics Operations intern at GoMechanic, you will play a vital role in optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring seamless logistical operations. With your expertise in Advanced Excel, you will analyze data, track inventory, and streamline transportation routes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be critical in identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
1. Analyze supply chain data using Advanced Excel to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
2. Track inventory levels and assist in optimizing stock levels to meet demand.
3. Assist in coordinating and monitoring transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
4. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
5. Support the logistics team in managing warehouse operations and ensuring accurate inventory counts.
6. Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance supply chain efficiency.
7. Provide regular updates and reports to management on supply chain performance metrics and KPIs.
