System Administration (Linux) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux servers and desktop systems
2. Working on Apache, MySQL, MongoDB, and administration
3. Working on package administration using RPM and YUM
4. Working on the user management, creation, deletion, and managing user privileges
5. Managing partitions and file systems and creating logical volumes using LVM
6. Securing and managing a network with firewall & IP tables (basic)
7. Working on SSL certificate installation
8. Managing Samba and SSH services
9. Managing Nagios monitoring tool
10. Working on the installation of MySQL
11. Working on the MySQL database creation and restoration
