We are urgently looking for interns to work on a program on transforming governance of urban primary healthcare, specifically through decentralization (devolution) of powers, functions and funds to urban local bodies (ULBs), and community participation with gender and sanitation appropriately mainstreamed. The position will need to closely build relationships and engage with ULB officials at the grassroots level, and internal team members for on-ground implementation.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work closely with the state program team to identify planning and program needs, opportunities, and approaches to strengthen Janaagraha s presence and relevance in the urban healthcare reforms space
2. Manage the implementation of the program s communication strategy and plan
3. Support the public health team in the day-to-day working
4. Support in developing documents/presentations for the government and the organization
