About part time job/internship

You will have to assist 7th grade teachers in a low-income school in Govandi.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Engage with the students and form meaningful relationships
2. Help in keeping the classrooms disciplined and functional
3. Manage remedial lessons for the students struggling with basics
4. Work on notebook and test correction
5. Make charts for the classrooms
6. Work on lesson planning and execution

Additional information

The volunteer needs to be empathetic, patient and invested in TFI's cause. The volunteer will be assigned one subject (out of math, science, English, SST) of their choice. Additionally, volunteers who can engage the kids in extracurricular activities will also be considered. The volunteer is expected to come to school 5 days a week from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Timings and workdays are flexible.
