A new kid is in the town - 'programming'. Everyone's learning and teaching programming. However, due to the highly skewed distribution of what it takes to learn programming - laptops, access to high-quality teachers, the divide is perhaps widening at a much faster pace than what meets the eyes.
We are looking forward to onboard volunteers (3 hours a week) who understand programming and have prior experience of teaching (irrespective of the subject) or who are keen on working on their teaching skills with us. You would be taking virtual classes (Python in Hindi or any other vernacular language).
Note: At Navgurukul, we are committed to ensuring that the girls from the remotest parts of the country who wish to learn programming but aren't able to have access to high-quality training, can do so on their smartphones itself (including running and writing the code). Needless to say, the experience to work with young girls from the most vulnerable parts of the country, but brimming with curiosity is totally worth putting any effort to make it happen.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the work from home job/internship
2. can start the work from home job/internship between 16th Sep'20 and 21st Oct'20
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
NavGurukul is a non-profit organization working towards the financial empowerment of students from underprivileged sections of society.
